EPICo Library Architecture Special Interest Group

In September 2024 we held the biannual EPICo Conference in Barcelona. One of the sessions was on the subject of library architecture and infrastructure. Following the session’s popularity and interest, the EPICo committee agreed to set up a new Special Interest Group. Andy Appleyard, from the British Library, will lead this group in the first instance. This will include regular online meetings to share experiences and knowledge,  developing an international network, and in potentially organising future site visits for members (budgets permitting) to visit storage repositories around Europe.
