On the 25 March 2026 the Print Storage Solutions Special Interest Group (SIG) had a very interesting meeting that focused on ‘high-density’ print storage. The meeting reviewed the previous workshop held at the Bibliotheque nationale de France (BnF, Paris) titled ‘efficient and sustainable storage‘ organised by IFLA Library Design Section and the BnF on the 6 March. Four of the presenters at that workshop are members of the EPICo SIG and presented at this weeks meeting, they were:
- British Library: A New Generation Storage Building. Andy Appleyard
- KB National Library of the Netherlands, The new book Repository. Marco Marten
- Cooperative Storage Library Switzerland. Tanja Vogel
- National Library of France, Amiens Project. Nadia Perigaud and Patrice Ract
The presentations were very insightful which members found useful, followed by Q&A and discussion.
