EPICo brings together practitioners working in repository libraries and on shared-print initiatives from across Europe. These libraries and initiatives allow for the preservation of, and ongoing access to, published work, while freeing space in public-facing libraries for a range of different uses. As part of this work EPICo has produced some documentation and guidance to support the work of libraries across the world.
The Metadata Special Interest Group have produced guidance around use of the 583 field for retention statements.
As of August 2024, EPICo is governed by the Terms of Reference.
